did not visit this planet to keep you amused in poor and paralyzing consolations but to break the mental prison.

There are no two

There are no two

Human consciousness is constituted by its contents comprising of cultural inputs and conditioning. There is no part of the conspicuous self-consciousness which is outside the net-work of its contents.

to die to the illusion ‘I’ every moment so that a human being can live in Intelligence from moment to moment without the burden of the past and the ‘becoming’ of the future.

...

There is no psychological evolution or development. There is only the ending and demolition of the separative psyche ‘I’, for the emergence of divinity which is the awakening of Intelligence.

Aloneness is not something to be cultivated. You are just out, and no governor or president is going to invite you to dinner.

On Guru Purnima

During the programme in Kolkata (India) in the last week of October, 2007, some one asked in Bengali language why ‘Asadha Purnima’ (the first full-moon day of the rainy season) is celebrated as Guru-Purnima which is an occasion to invoke Guru-grace.

The response that emerged from Shibendu overwhelmed the listeners and it was suggested that this wisdom of India should appear as a message in our web-site some day.

Summer represents the maximization of the heat of the conflict, agitation and division of the mind, almost destroying life. Then comes the shower of rainy season restoring and renewing life again.

Moonlight represents the indirect light of the Guru Process to which the limitation of human eye can look at and receive the soothing light. Sunlight represents the direct light of God which is blinding to human eye and may damage the organ giving rise to total darkness. So moonlight is the suitable way for dispelling the darkness in human consciousness. That is, the understanding made available through the Guru Process may be more appropriate for dispelling the stupidity of human mind rather than directly going in for the dazzling light of God (Chaitanya – Intelligence). Full moon represents the final Guru Process, particularly so, after the renewal of life with the advent of rainy season following a scorching summer of separative consciousness.

So enjoy the light of the full moon in the comfort of the first rain (Guru Purnima). Only an infinitesimal flash of direct Sun-light from time to time is enough. That is, be available to the Guru Process and have a flash of direct divine light only occasionally so that the spurious bifurcation in the inner consciousness is burnt out completely.
